Piña Drako Colada

Pineapple Drako Colada

A tropical, vibrant and unique version of the classic Piña Colada, where the smooth Drako Vodka enhances the exotic flavors of pineapple and coconut, creating a refreshing and delicious experience that will transport you directly to a paradise beach.

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml of Drako Vodka: the perfect base to bring softness and a modern touch to this tropical classic.
  • 90 ml of natural pineapple juice: It provides sweetness, freshness and a fruity flavor that defines the tropical character of the cocktail.
  • 30 ml of coconut cream: to give it the creamy texture and the unmistakable sweet and exotic flavor that harmonizes with pineapple.
  • Ice: essential to achieve a smooth and refreshing consistency when mixing.
  • Slice of pineapple and a cherry: Decorative elements that not only beautify the presentation, but also add an extra touch of freshness and color.

Step by Step Preparation:

  1. Prepare the ingredients:
Make sure the pineapple juice is cold and the coconut cream has a uniform texture. If the coconut cream has separated, shake or blend it before using.

  2. Filling the blender:
Place enough ice in the blender to fill it about three-quarters of the way. This will ensure that the drink has an icy, smooth consistency.

  3. Add the main ingredients:
Pour the 45 ml of Drako Vodka , the 90 ml pineapple juice and the 30 ml coconut cream in the blender over the ice.

  4. Blend carefully:
Blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds or until all ingredients are completely mixed, achieving a uniform, creamy texture without visible ice chunks.

  5. Serve with elegance:
Pour the mixture into a tall glass (hurricane or Collins) or a wide glass for a sophisticated touch. Make sure the texture is thick but pourable.

  6. Decorate with a tropical touch:
Garnish the rim of the glass with a slice of fresh pineapple. Add a bright red cherry for a pop of contrasting color. For a more exotic finish, add a paper umbrella or pineapple leaf to complete the presentation.

Mixologist Tips:

  • For a more intense flavor, you can replace part of the pineapple juice with natural pineapple puree.
  • If you like it sweeter, add a few drops of sugar syrup or honey before blending.
  • For an extra aromatic touch, sprinkle a little cinnamon or ground nutmeg over the drink before serving.
